I have been seeing adults in therapy for several years. My background is in the therapeutic foster care system in Baltimore, Maryland, working with children, teens, and families who have experienced traumatic life events. I now work with people of all ages on a variety of issues. During the first session we talk a little bit about what brought you to therapy and what you hope to gain out of the experience. I gather background information and history just to get an idea of where you are coming from. I will answer any questions you have about the therapeutic process, my history, and anything else you want to know.
