Are you someone who is skeptical about therapy? Does the idea of talking to a stranger about your issues cause you to feel uneasy, maybe even angry? I specialize in treating 1st responders, men’s issues, anger management, life transitions, vicarious and direct trauma, marriage/relationship concerns and addictive behaviors such as: substance abuse and porn/sex addiction. I have worked in various settings including inpatient substance abuse treatment, a partial hospital psychiatric program and with forensic male substance abuse populations in the prison setting. I offer a straight-forward and very direct approach to counseling. I use a lot of humor and insight, I find being "real" to be the best way to get desired outcomes.
