I approach my work with empathy, validation, and humor. One of my areas of expertise include working with adolescents (12+ years old). In my 17 years of experience working in high schools in NYC and the SF Bay Area, I have learned a thing or two about helping youth navigate challenging situations. My work with adults includes helping parents as well as those looking for support in relationships, work, and identity. I spent the majority of my formative years living abroad, attending International School. I relate to the experiences of a “Third Culture Kid”, and can support in transitions to and from the International community. I have a deep understanding of the unique set of challenges facing today’s adolescents. These might include relationships, academic pressure, and family stressors. In addition to working with teens in the general education setting, have worked extensively with neurodiverse students, students with developmental disabilities, and those with IEPs.
