Welcome to therapy! Congrats on taking the step to seek a safe and healthy place for you to process. I welcome you to my practice on the Grow Platform and look forward to connecting with you. My name is Dr. Joanna White and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Connecticut. I have my School Counseling Certification in Connecticut and also am a University Professor in Human Services and Social Work. I am a firm believer that therapy can be beneficial for all (I go myself!) and see it as a wonderful opportunity to grow and process “life stuff” in a safe and supportive environment. It is an honor to provide that space to my clients! We can talk more about your unique therapy journey and how I can best support you in our first session. I look forward to connecting with you soon! In our first session together, we'll start with introductions, so that I can get to know you better and also introduce myself and my therapeutic style.
