I am an LPC with 25 years experience. I work with young athletes and building their mental toughness as they prepare for competition and/or helping athletes overcome former injuries that may be holding them back mentally. I also work with adults and specialize in trauma, grief, anxiety, and depression. I was certified as a grief counselor in 2021. I am EMDR trained through and approved EMDRIA organization. My approach combines empathy with evidence-based techniques, ensuring a safe space for clients to navigate their emotions. My commitment to continuous learning and the well-being of those I serve remains unwavering. Should we connect, I'm confident I will be able to provide you the safe place to process your thoughts, feelings and issues while equipping you with skills to practice in between our sessions coupled with a shift in your mindset. Problem solving, validation, empathy and skill building are all things you can expect over the course of our time together.
