I am licensed in the state of Florida as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (MH#16580). I also am licensed in North Carolina as a Licensed Clinical Mental Heath Counselor (License #10919). I hold a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling Psychology from Nova Southeastern University (1992) and a Bachelor’s degree from Boston University (1985). My professional memberships include the Florida Mental Health Counselors Association, the Licensed Professional Counselors Association of North Carolina, the American Counseling Association and The National Board of Certified Counselors. I have served different populations while practicing, including children, adolescents, families, couples, and adults for over 30 years. I have worked with these populations in an array of different settings, including home, school, office, residential facilities, and courts . I utilize a strength based/client centered approach when working with clients.
