Helping couples improve their relationship is my specialty! I believe counseling should be a positive experience and work hard to create a safe space to explore problems (no matter how big) without either partner feeling attacked, blamed, or criticized. I help clients practice effective communication using research-based methods that are proven to be effective. You will also learn how to manage conflict more effectively (even when you disagree). My goal is to help create a mutually loving and respectful relationship, and for each partner to feel understood and have their needs met. I am trained in a variety of modalities and integrate them based on your specific needs and situation. In addition, I have extensive training in Couples Counseling using the Gottman Method. I combine professional knowledge with personal experience to create an effective, down-to -earth approach to therapy people relate to.
