In therapy, we can explore how these layers intersect, where there is tension, where they offer strength, and where there is room for something expansive to grow. My clients are often neurodivergent and/or queer, seeking a space where they don't have to over-explain themselves and can feel seen as their full, complex selves. Many think and speak in ways that are richly detailed or non-linear, and I value that as part of how they make meaning.
