Hi, I’m John. Does your relationship with your partner seem like a constant challenge to make it work, to see each other as you once did? I can help you understand what is going on between you, to communicate in a way that gives you each a broader, perspective on your relationship so that you can learn to know what each other feels and find a way to work together as a team to make your relationship more fulfilling (and less stressful, to establish a climate of good will in your home and a feeling of acceptance of each other, commitment and excitement to be together. I have spent much of my life learning about relationships, first that of my parents’ then those of my friends, and, of course (especially), my own, then as a mediator—divorce mediation led me to decide to go back to graduate school to learn ways of helping people stay together instead of breaking up.
