About
Since 1982, I have enjoyed working with adults, children, and couples in private practice and community organizations. I am currently focused on working with adults who are building resilient and satisfying lives after experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, or substance use. Most recently I have been privileged to work with adults who are on probation and who are re-entering the community after incarceration. I bring light-hearted humor into this serious and difficult work. I have experience working with adults with co-occurring disorders of substance use and mental illness. I am aware of the interaction of body-mind-emotions-spirit. I use treatment approaches that match the needs and understanding of each individual. I have experience with DBT, Cognitive Processing, mindfulness, and somatic therapies.
