My take is simple. Life is a gift, not always easy, but precious and brief. I work with individuals who want to live with authenticity and purpose, but also with serenity and grace. We come by our difficulties honestly, so there's scant value in beating ourselves up. I encourage people to move beyond shame and blame, and focus instead on building the lives they want.
