I am a LCSW, licensed psychotherapist with 25 years of experience, and 25 years social services/ministries outreach, providing individual and family therapy by utilizing a strengths-based, collaborative, holistic approach, allowing me to gain a clearer sense of my client's mental, emotional, social and spiritual needs, and finding viable and alternative solutions to reach a more balanced and optimal level of coping/functioning. I endeavor to conduct psychotherapy with individuals who are challenged with a crisis, substance abuse/addictions, dual diagnosis, and related codependency issues; relationships, depression, grief, and loss. I utilize a holistic approach for crisis counseling, as well as evidenced-based cognitive behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing, which facilitates my clients' ability to cope/function better with negative and self-defeating thoughts and behaviors.
