I am looking to work with clients who are curiously engaged with what is occupying them and are seeking to play an active role in their therapeutic work. Clients such as these may be wanting to make sense of their present situation while also being open to considering what kind of role they can play in being a change agent for themselves. This client may be wanting to develop a new perspective and meaning about themselves and what they are involved in to become empowered in making decisions for themselves and create new meaning of their experiences and of life itself. I can help my client through my foundational approach as a Humanistic/Existentialist therapist, which promotes in clients their innate ability to create meaning of their experiences as well as search within themselves what they feel to be the best course of action. This, along with utilizing IFS, Narrative, and other modalities can empower clients.
