I am a clinical psychologist in San Rafael (Marin County) with over 35 years of clinical experience, and I really enjoy working with my clients. I work primarily with adults (including older teenagers) of all sexual orientations, addressing depression, anxiety, stage-of-life and transition issues, trauma and PTSD. Other presenting problems include low self-esteem, procrastination/motivation problems, poor relationships, addiction and impulse control problems, and gay/lesbian/bisexual issues, including coming out. I believe that most of our life struggles are treatable, to at least reduce their frequency, intensity, and duration. Many many are made worse by our reactions to them, and that is one area we can address and almost definitely change and improve.
