Jonathan McKee, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I meet people where they are and try to implement strategies that we think will work for them. I attempt to create a safe, relaxed, and non-judgmental environment. I use cognitive behavioral therapy among others. I believe people enjoy working with me as communicate with respect, humor, and appropriate energy. I like to let the client set goals while incorporating attainable interventions along the way. The first session is usually geared toward gathering background information in a comfortable way in an effort to create a good rapport with the individual or couple.
