As a therapist I believe that each person needs something different. Sometimes someone needs someone to talk to and bounce ideas off, some need concrete steps to improve parts of their life, others need to explore their past and connect it to their present. I can help people learn coping skills, challenging negative or self-destructive thoughts, and learn what their triggers are and why they have them. I encourage mindfulness practices and self-acceptance. I work with a lot of people with anxiety, depression, and relationship issues often caused by anxiety or other issues. I am an EMDR certified counselor for those with trauma.
