Jordan completed her master’s degree with New York University in 2022 and has over two years of experience providing counseling in a number of clinical settings. Her training as a student included supporting a shelter/hotline for domestic abuse survivors as well as working with veterans who have serious mental illness diagnosis’. Her full-time experience has been in an outpatient primary care mental health setting with the Veterans Health Administration seeing a whole spectrum of ages, demographics, and experiences. Jordan sees clients facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship conflict, and more. Therapist prefers to utilize a mix of theoretical orientations such as psychosocial development, rational choice, and systems theories as well as interventions of CBT, DBT, trauma informed care, solution focused, and motivational interviewing.
