As an art therapist, I aspire to pair traditional psychotherapy techniques with the visual nature of art therapy. The creative process of art therapy is an additional way for clients with or without artistic backgrounds to express themselves and achieve a heightened sense of self. This helps pave the pathway for personal growth across a multitude of issues. Through a mutual trust between counselor and client, we define a framework for therapy that best meets the client’s needs for functional and efficient daily living.
