My name is Jose Ruvalcaba, and I am an LCSW practicing out of Los Angeles CA. My approach to therapy is very much focused on my client's strengths. Some of my main focus areas include depression, anxiety, grief, and stress management. My therapeutic approach is centered on the strengths and motivational factors of my clients. I employ Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in my sessions. Additionally, I incorporate motivational interviewing techniques in my practice. The majority of my work with clients is centered on symptoms of depression, anxiety, grief, stress management, and developmental trauma.
