My name is Althea Session. I am a life-long resident of New York. I completed my Masters of Arts degree in Mental Health Counseling at Nyack College. I also hold a CASAC Level II (Credential for Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counseling). In my career as a clinician, I have held positions of Clinical Counselor with VIP Community Services and Lexington Center for Recovery and currently as Substance Abuse Specialist with the ACT Team under Greater Mental Health of NY My strengths include Person Centered and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approaches.
