Joy brings a wealth of experience, having worked in diverse environments such as community-based services, outpatient clinics and children's mental health day treatment programs. Joy possesses extensive experience assisting clients aged 3-7 but is skilled in working with children, adolescents and, young adults, with a focus on somatic processing, trauma-focused, and play-based therapies. Her therapeutic practice integrates Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, mindfulness techniques, play therapy and elements of art therapy.
