In a world full of virtual reality and AI - I’m a real person! I have 25+ years of proven experience and sincerely enjoy working with my clients. I work hard and collaboratively with those who are seeking counseling as well as life coaching. My desire is to help clients work through their issues - in a safe space - so they are able to develop a more integrated sense of self, experience increased self-compassion & purpose and have respectful and enduring relationships with others. In my work I like to come alongside people so they can put their past behind them, experience restoration & live their life to the fullest potential. Clinically I borrow from several different schools of thought. I teach practical, life skills (like those found in CBT & DBT) but also try to help individuals find the underlying cause for their symptoms (so I use Internal Family Systems/IFS along with Developmental & Humanistic approaches). For trauma issues I have found excellent results using EMDR.
