I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 8 years of experience working with clients in community mental health and addiction treatment programs. In both, I have provided my client's with tools to overcome life challenges such as substance abuse, co-occurring disorders, trauma, anxiety, depression, along with self-esteem and relationship struggles. I have a passion for both education and counseling for purposeful healing. Together, my passions help my clients overcome past and present experiences and assist with their transformation into successful, empowered, and healthy individuals. The therapeutic relationship is built on trust and safety. My approach is client-centered and strength-based with a focus on the therapeutic alliance as the basis of change. I utilize an eclectic array of techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy, that best fits my client’s needs.
