My years of experience have allowed me to witness the power, hope, and change that can come through therapy that creates a safe, warm, and confidential environment for growth. I provide individuals and couples therapy that focuses on strengths, empowerment, relational change, and healthy strategies for coping with oppression and trauma. I excel in working with people who have marginalized identities, such as disability status, sexual orientation, and gender identity. While I have done therapy and academic work related to these issues for more than two decades, I strive to continually learn as our cultural context, language, choices, and rights change.
