I am a Masters Level Clinical Social Worker with 10+ years experience. I provide services at Lyon Counseling Center at locations in Huntington Woods, MI; South Lyon, MI and/or telehealth options. I have experience working with individuals and groups in a variety of fields including: school social work, developmental disabilities, families, mental health and substance use. I have had the unique experience of spending four years in Petersburg, Alaska in which I provided community mental health services and crisis intervention to a rural population. I trust in a strengths-based and solution-focused approach to treatment. The therapeutic process can be beneficial in identifying and exploring inner-strength and receiving support, insight and new tools to implement. I believes in the significance of evaluating all areas of an individual’s life in order to effectively assess needs and develop treatment strategies to work towards meeting goals and making positive changes.
