I work with adults and couples who feel stuck in painful relationship or coping patterns. Many of my clients have a history of childhood, relational, or other complex trauma, and struggle with anxiety-related issues, perfectionism, emotional dysregulation, and people-pleasing. They often feel self-critical, emotionally exhausted, or unsure of who they are. To cultivate real change, you may have to process the past to create the future you desire. Life will bring discomfort, whether we stay put or move forward. Which discomfort are you willing to sit with? My approach is trauma-informed and attachment-based, integrating internal parts of the Self to help clients better understand their emotional responses and build self-compassion. Acceptance and willingness are central themes in my approach.
