Most of my clients come to me seeking help with mood, anxiety, and relationship difficulties. I work with adults as well with teens and their parents; this work is grounded in a clear understanding of developmental issues. Many of my clients seek to replace maladaptive coping mechanisms (which were helpful during a difficult time, but have stuck around past their expiration dates!) with healthy coping skills that engage not just their minds, but their bodies. I work well with clients interested in deepening insight into the impact of the past on their present, as well as examining the narratives that may be restricting their growth.
