I’m so glad you’ve found your way here. My name is Kara, and I’m a mental health therapist with a passion for supporting individuals on their unique journey to mental well-being. I believe that everyone deserves a safe, compassionate space to heal and grow, and I’m excited to meet you! With a diverse background in mental health, I’ve had the privilege of working in a variety of settings, including group practice, school-based environments, and as a hospital social worker. This wide range of experience has given me a deep understanding of the different challenges people face and the many ways therapy can support healing and growth. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Iowa, where I developed a strong foundation in therapeutic techniques and evidence-based practices. But more than my education, it’s my genuine desire to help others and my friendly, open approach that I bring to every session.
