I want to help clients connect past trauma and feelings of shame to problems they are currently facing today, whether this be substance abuse, mood issues, relationship problems or behaviors. I will teach clients a variety of skills to help cope with current symptoms and problems as well as help process underlying negative thoughts and traumas. I also do family work with clients that are using substances or are in early recovery to work on codependency issues within the family system.
