Karen is a dynamic psychotherapist who specializes in treating anxiety, depression, and relationship struggles. She is certified in family systems therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, and she uses a life coaching framework to set goals for progress. "As a Black woman in America, I understand trauma, shame, pain, and struggle on multiple levels" I grew up in NYC and I get it. I'm warm, relatable and I keep it real. I'm also extremely optimistic and hopeful that humanity is on the path toward enlightenment. I offer resources to help end people pleasing , and stop avoiding conflict and self sabotage. My background is in women's health, family and relationships, social justice, yoga, and meditation.
