Relationship issues, Co-Dependency, Emotional Eating, Trauma and Faith are my areas of clinical experience. Many of us have learned from important early relationships to mute or dismiss our needs, wants and emotions. We might then look to take care of those needs and wants by people pleasing, being over focused on food or weight, or other behaviors that eventually feel out of control. Trauma and or neglect can be at the core of these behaviors. Some people of faith experience difficult challenges in life and have a hard time integrating their faith with their lived experience.
