I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 19 years of experience. I have worked extensively with clients who present with various emotional and behavioral challenges and diagnoses, including: depression, anxiety, AD/HD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder/trauma reactivity, grief, substance use, mood instability, limited use of effective coping skills, impaired decision making, impulsivity, low self-esteem and relationship issues. I use a collaborative and strength based approach to assist clients in recognizing and building upon their strengths and overcoming their challenges. I have helped many people better their lives. I use several different therapeutic approaches, including trauma informed, relational, motivational, solution focused, CBT and DBT, depending upon client presentation, treatment goals, and client feedback. I treat others with respect and am empathetic, relatable, dependable and have a sense of humor.
