I believe in making positive life changes for emotional well being. My experience includes work with adults in individual counseling, group therapy, and hospital based intensive outpatient programs. Some treatment approaches I utilize include cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectic behavioral therapy, brief treatments, and an eclectic approach to meet the needs of individual clients. I have worked in settings including counseling centers, assisted living facilities and hospitals. Commonly experienced issues I have assisted clients in working through include behavioral issues, impulsivity, family conflict, loss, relationship issues, self esteem and self worth issues, and effectively managing mood disorders and personality disorders.
