As each person is unique, the best therapy is individualized. I am very flexible to what you personally need, constructing therapy based on what works to relieve suffering, foster growth, and develop insight. We will focus on understanding, but we might use mindfulness, anxiety management techniques, or other modalities. I avoid jargon and acronyms, preferring to talk in more ordinary or evocative language. Sometimes, there are big issues to grapple with, but often by focusing on seemingly small blocks, we can loosen the process of growth and the experience of being alive to one's own life.
