People often put on a brave face, smile, and say "I'm fine" but they are crumbling inside, finding it difficult to focus. Struggles with family, relationships, work, and school may stem from different experiences that have affected how a person develops emotionally and how a person sees the world around them. My background and training as a licensed clinical social worker provides me the perspective of working with the whole person. I am also an EMDRIA fully accredited and trained EMDR therapist, a modality which I use to help people overcome traumatic events, as well as anxiety and depression.
