Hi, I’m Katia—a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Georgia and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from American International College in Massachusetts. With over 18 years of experience in mental health and social services, I’ve supported children, teens, adults, and families through a variety of life transitions and emotional challenges. My work has taken me through school-based programs, crisis intervention, residential treatment, community clinics, and more. As a therapist, I specialize in helping people navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral concerns, relationship issues, and life transitions. My approach is open-minded, practical, and grounded in real life. I believe in meeting you where you are—with kindness and without judgment—while offering realistic strategies that help you move forward.
