I see therapy as a journey home - home toward our best and truest selves. Our truest selves have always existed underneath the many messages we receive about what we must do in order to earn our value or be worthy of love. This process can be both painful and freeing, and in my personal experience, is usually both harder and more worth it than I imagined. I also believe we are both formed and healed in relationships, which translates into the kinds of therapy and client work I most enjoy.
