I love working with Queer and Trans and/or Neurodivergent clients to feel more authentically themselves in whatever ways feel safe enough in these times when the sky is falling. Trauma treatment is a specialty that feels so rewarding when people are finally able to shed the impact of things that may have happened many years ago. Clients feel comfortable being themselves in my presence because they feel me genuinely reaching to meet them where they are and validating their pain. Anxious children visibly relax in my office, almost appearing to melt.
