I have been working in the field of Social Work/Mental Health since 2011. I am passionate about supporting individuals in learning about and processing through the ways life experiences and traumas have impacted them. I find that often times (not always) people develop symptoms related to anxiety, depression & other mental/behavioral health issues because of how they have learned to respond to and survive through traumas and adverse life experiences. I enjoy teaching clients to manage self-defeating thoughts, communicate needs, set limits with others, mange their time more effectively and connect with loved ones in healthier ways. I am trained in EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, trauma informed parenting and Motivational Interviewing
