My passion includes helping clients navigate the life journey by providing a safe, supportive, and positive environment. I have experience in private practice and school counseling, offering unique perspective and insight into the population I work with. I utilize a person-centered, CBT, and strengths-based approach. I am trained in EMDR through EMDR of the Rockies engage in and animal assisted services as well. My experiences have offered me the opportunity to assist with anxiety, depression, and self-esteem, among other areas. Clients can come to me without fear of judgment for their thoughts, feelings, or beliefs as I enjoy working with all people. In addition to traditional therapeutic approaches, I often incorporate my black lab, Griz, into sessions to provide comfort, companionship, and a source of unconditional love. I believe in the healing power of the human-animal bond.
