I believe that everyone ought to live their one wildly important life with presence and purpose and that we are the expert on our own experience of it. However, sometimes it doesn't feel like it and we need support. Counseling offers the togetherness we need in these moments to figure it out. Although I support a variety of individuals with living on purpose, my primary focus in counseling is on women's issues (specifically menopause), emerging adulthood/identity development (17+), relationship dynamics (family/stepfamily, family of origin, parent/child, romantic), and military spouse support. My style is warm and collaborative, direct and relatable. I find it important to balance the exploration of the historical context of your life that shapes your current experience with tangible, practical skills and information that support value-based decision-making, emotional regulation, and improved functioning.
