Are you resistant to the idea of “talking about your problems?” I incorporate creative therapies that have an emphasis on feeling rather than talking. I use somatic techniques, Sandtray therapy, and child centered play therapy (for children under 10). I work well with teens/adults who don’t trust themselves, struggle to set boundaries, don’t know who they are or what they want, can’t regulate their emotions, can’t always find the words, and/or feel unsafe existing as their authentic selves. I work well with children who have bizarre behaviors, have explosive episodes, are incredibly shy, are unsure of themselves, have endless energy, and/or have a trauma history.
