Kelly has a passion for helping individuals work through trauma and the effects of trauma on their lives. She believes that trauma is many times the core root of numerous mental health concerns. She also holds to treating clients holistically; seeking to understand how their physical health, social supports, environment, spiritual or religious practices can impact and be incorporated into a person’s healing journey. Kelly has a Christian faith background and core and is willing to incorporate elements of faith into a person’s therapeutic process when it may be beneficial and the client desires to do so. Kelly obtained an LLMSW with specializations in Trauma-Focuse Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Trauma across the Life Span from Western Michigan University, a BA in Pre-counseling from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago IL. Kelly holds a CAADC-DP (Certified Advanced Alcohol and Addiction Counselor with Development plan). Kelly is also Gottman Level 1 trained.
