I am a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern with a focus on play-based therapy for children and adolescents. I believe play is a child’s natural language and provides a meaningful way to explore emotions, experiences, and relationships. I practice under the supervision of Jeribeth Solis Perez, LMHC-S, at The Mindful Heart Counseling. Through play or expressive arts, children are able to communicate thoughts and feelings that may be difficult to express with words alone.
