Thanks for wanting to get to know me because I want to get to know you too. Well to start, I got into the counseling profession because in high school I found classmates and strangers would naturally tell me their problems. Back then, I just listened because I did not have much life experience or knowledge on theories. So I dismissed from the idea of helping people because I did not think I was being much help by "just listening". However since that time, I have learned to understand and respect the power of listening; and I have had a few birthdays and gained life experiences along the way.
