I treat individuals, couples and adolescents. I specialize in couple therapy and work on issues of communication, affairs, intimacy, relationship building and divorce transition. People often believe that they are more independent than they truly are on others, less connected and affected by the people in their lives. However, research shows the opposite. It also helps to learn about our emotions. Emotions often are automatic especially when anxiety and stress is high. My work looks at affective neuroscience which integrates the scientific research of brain function and emotions that drive behavior, focus and our relationships with others.
