About
Hello. I'm a licensed mental health counselor that has been in practice since 2000. I help clients who are dealing with trauma, abuse, grief, anxiety, depression, behavior and school problems. I enjoy helping my clients work through traumatic events, losses and stressful circumstances. I also enjoy helping clients learn more effective ways of thinking and behaving, helping them create healthier relationships and life choices and to see them feel better about themselves. I have specialized training in Play Therapy and believe children can PLAY to heal, PLAY to learn, and PLAY to feel better. I'm trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, and YogaCalm all which are evidence based treatments to deal with trauma and loss. I can also offer Christian based counseling.
