Hello! I am a parent to two grown daughters, and I have 2 grandchildren! My first marriage wasn't healthy and ended in divorce. I married my current husband almost 20 years ago and we are very happy! I was, at different points, a working mother and a stay-at-home mom. My now-deceased mother lived with us for several years and I was her full-time caregiver. My own life experiences prepared me well to become a therapist, and I returned to college to obtain my master's degree in Mental Health Counseling at age 40. For the past 15 years, I have helped clients heal from past traumas, navigate current challenges, strengthen their sense of self and/or interpersonal ties, etc. I am a trauma-informed therapist and also have advanced training in shame, grief/bereavement, anxiety, couples counseling and personality disorders.
