Kimberly Powers, LMHC, has been effectively supporting patients with developing self-awareness and emotion regulation through the use of Dialectical behavior therapy and the warm glow of the computer screen. Patients use their new periods of calm to direct their movement toward values-based and actionable goals and improve their lives. My clients are motivated to learn about themselves in an accepting and well-boundaried space that emphasizes non-judgmental self-assessment and learning.
