Life has purpose and meaning, and you have been uniquely and wonderfully made. I deeply care about how you feel. Working with adolescent and young adults as an educator my entire adult life, I have a soft spot for both teens and young adults, bringing both optimism and experience. The mental health of Americans, both young and old, after the COVID-19 pandemic remains profound amidst the slurry of isolation, family distress, and loneliness. It would be my privilege to listen and understand you as we walk together through whatever is overwhelming you. It all starts with a single conversation and a commitment to a better you. I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to release the frozen past and create a hope-filled future. As a SYMBIS assessor, I am certified to counsel young people considering marriage and am currently earning my certification in EMDR to inform trauma-focused CBT skills. We can share what I have learned together to nurture hope. You are not alone.
